Youth & Young Adults

At St. Peter's there are various youth and young adult groups for any one interested. The Friday night youth group, YSPY, meets from 7-9pm each Friday of the school term, in the Parish Centre (next to the Cathedral) and is open to all youth in Years 6-11. A great time is had each Friday night as we meet to learn more from the Bible, play games, participate in all kinds of activities and feast on a hearty supper at the end of the evening. There are also mid-week Bible study groups for the youth. There is SPY, which is a senior high aged Bible study group for youth in Years 9-12. It meets each week during the school term on Tuesday nights from 7-8:30pm in the Deanery. There is also SIC, a junior high girls Bible study group, which meets each week, also on Tuesdays, from 3:45-5:00pm. For the details of where this group meets, please contact the Youth Worker.

For Young Adults, there is YABBER, the Young Adults Bible Study Groups. There are five of them and they meet each week during the university semesters on a Wednesday night from 7:30-9:30pm in various locations. They are a great time of Bible study, prayer, fellowship and supper together. YABBER also regularly has combined events, where all the groups get together.
