COVID-19 Crisis

St Peter’s and COVID-19

The current COVID-19 situation is continuing to be an extremely challenging and uncertain time for all Australians. St Peter’s is not immune to this and the current restrictions being introduced are having a significant impact on the way we run as a church and will likely continue to do so for some time. Thankfully, our salvation does not hang on our meeting together (as important as this is – Hebrews 10:25) but on the completed work of Christ through his life, death and resurrection alone. If we continue to trust in Jesus, our church will continue, even though the way we grow and encourage one another may look different.

Online Resources

Although the COVID-19 situation has stopped our weekly services, we are still providing plenty of opportunity for growing together online. We are currently creating a 10-15 minute Daily Devotional each weekday, and a 15-20 minute Family Focused service on Sundays to help whole families gather around God & his word together. If you are still looking for more of St Peters teaching of God's word, we have archived the last 3 years worth of Sermons and they are available to be listened to. All this can now be found on our YouTube channel. Subscribe to it get regular updates.

Information regarding COVID-19

In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Bishop has suspended all public gatherings at the Cathedral until further notice. This currently includes Sunday services, home Bible study groups, Play Day, BLAST! or any other groups where people congregate in close proximity at the Cathedral or in homes.
