On the 15th of August we met in the Cathedral and prayed. Since then we have received over 40 mm of gentle soaking rain against the longer-term forecasts. This is not to say that the drought is over. There may yet be more testing and learning times ahead, but at the very least we should be encouraged, by God’s mercy and power, to pray. We should also we encouraged to continue to pray.
